Endesa, S.A is the largest electric utility company in Spain. It is a subsidiary of the Italian Utiltiy company, Enel. Both are listed.
EDP-Energias de Portugal is the largest Portuguese company by assets. Moving forward, EDP is working to fund an investment plan focused on strengthening its renewable energy portfolio in the US, Europe and LA. They plan to raise more than 6 billion euros from offloading non-core parts of its portfolio and cutting stakes in some projects. They aim to focus on wind related projects.
